Make up artists don’t come much more legendary than Charlotte Tilbury; with twenty years in the industry, she’s a true trailblazer, creating looks for some of film and fashion’s most iconic faces, and distilling her expertise into a line of luxury make up. The latest release to captivate us, the Super Nudes collection celebrates easy-to-wear neutral make up that everyone, everywhere will worship. From '90s-inspired nude lipsticks to endlessly glowy face palettes, these runway-ready arrivals are destined for your make up bag... I bought this on release but should have waited for your review only 2 shades work for me. I enjoyed the darker Glowgasm palette except the too light bronzer this palette feels like a step back for the brand who could do light, medium, and deep palettes. I can’t express how much I appreciate you discussing inclusivity in beauty.

Recent Reviews

This was the least warm-toned shade that I've swatched within the formula, so I could see it being more versatile across undertones as a result. The texture was smooth, lightweight, thin, and fluid without being watery (more like a cross between water and gel), which helped it blend well with moisturizer, primer, or foundation or be spread across larger areas (like all over the face). The doe-foot applicator made getting just a touch out easier for highlighting the high points of the face, though it was less useful for getting product for mixing in. Nudegasm (Sculpt) is a light-medium brown with muted, almost yellowy-olive undertones and a matte finish. It had a very firm, stiff texture that I had to really dig at to loosen product, which yielded more medium, buildable coverage in practice. The powder was blendable and applied evenly to bare skin, but it required some effort to get it out of the pan itself initially.

How to apply

Dries down to an opaque waterproof finish very quickly, which means you need to get it right the first time. Not buildable because it’s impossible to add a second coat once it dries. But, the first coat is pigmented enough that you won’t need a second. Difficult to sharpen to a fine point due to the formula and the plastic (not wood) encasing. I can only get it to a blunt point and it keeps sliding out of the encasing and falling out.

By completing this form you agree to our terms and conditions. Due to its contents, this product cannot be shipped via our Priority Service or sent to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Please remember that results will vary from person to person.

I don’t understand how a brand can understand that there is more than one shade of “nude” for lipstick but it escapes them that the same doesn’t apply to cheek products… I will say that the palette is more medium/medium deep than very light/light-leaning as one might have expected, though. It would make more sense to offer Light/Medium and Medium/Deep options (at a minimum). Charlotte Tilbury Medium (4) Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44.00 for 30.00 oz.) is a light-medium beige with warm, golden undertones and a luminous sheen.

It was ever-so-slightly firmer than the average gel-powder hybrid formula, which already require using a denser, slightly more moderate-to-heavy hand approach (but then they have no powderiness and seem to “melt” on skin a bit). The powder, once loosened from the pan, applied beautifully to bare skin and blended out well without emphasizing my skin’s natural texture. It stayed on nicely for nine hours before fading visibly. I like most of my products from CT, most of the time I find nothing in the collections though. I have a few LE lipsticks that I love, these new ones will not join my stash.

So maybe this is her making up for the fact that she hardly releases any palettes that is brown girls can wear. With four universally flattering nude shades in three textures, Charlotte Tilbury Nudegasm Face Palette brings star power to makeup. Formulated with finely milled particles, smoothing polymers, and pearl pigments, which glide over the skin for a lustrous finish.

charlotte tilbury nudegasm palette

Inspired by the legendary make up artist's world-worshipped Glowgasm palettes and backstage beauty secrets, this universally flattering palette is filled with blurring, smoothing and illuminating pans that achieve a runway-ready radiance. SUPER SCULPT is also your perfect Face Contour shade; apply under your cheekbones, sides of the nose and along the jawline. If you have a medium to deep skin tone or a warm undertone… Apply SUPER GLOW to the inner corners of your eyes for the appearance of bigger, brighter-looking eyes. Wear MULTI GLOW as your Eye Prime shade all over your eyelid, and Face Highlight on the tops of your cheekbones. Apply SCULPT as your Eye Enhance shade, layering on top of MULTI GLOW and focussing on the outer corners to add definition to the eyes. Dial up your eyes by applying SUPER SCULPT as your Eye Smoke shade in the crease and along your upper and lower lashlines!

Customer reviews are independent and do not represent the views of The Hut Group. In the running for the 'Prettiest Face Palette Ever' award, Charlotte Tilbury's beautifully sleek, mirrored Nudegasm Face Palette stars a quartet of sculpting and glowing shades to accentuate your contours and cast a sun-kissed glow. I love the blush and highlighter in this but hate the bronzer colours. I prefer a much warmer bronzer and these just weren’t warm enough. All of the shades are complementary to each other on the skin. It’s mediocre quality for a great big price and unless all four shades work for you (which I doubt) then it is a waste of money. And by only offering one of these, CT has misread the market – even CP offers a greater variety and they were pretty good.

Charlotte Tilbury Nudegasm Glowgasm Face Palette ($75.00 for 0.52 oz.) includes two shimmery shades and two matte shades; the latter two being designed for contouring/bronzing. The consistency of the two sculpting shades felt thinner and stiffer compared to most gel-powder hybrid formulas, though the other two powders were more yielding and more in line with the dense/slightly stiff (but not in a bad way!) expected from a gel-powder formula. As a standalone highlighter, this shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours.

Nudegasm (Multi-Glow) is a medium, coppery-orange with warm undertones and fine, gold pearl throughout that gave it a luminous glow on the skin. It had opaque color coverage, though the texture was firmer and a little stiffer, which became more yielding after a few uses but be careful when finger-swatching as it may compact the product further. Nudegasm (Super Glow) is a light, peachy gold with strong, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage with a smooth, slightly firmer texture, but it picked up evenly with a moderately-dense brush and blended out with ease. The highlighter didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture and lasted well for eight and a half hours on my skin.

I do like Supermodel and hope I have some near enough dupe, if not I’ll forget about it when the next new interesting lipstick appears. Yep, it’s definitely medium-centric, which means that it would work great for me. Well, provided I felt like laying out $75, that is.As for there being only one Nudegasm palette, I also feel that she ought to have offered at least one more version, and had another blush instead of two sculpting shades. Toggle between product photos and swatches of the shades included in this palette/set.

Charlotte Tilbury Nudegasm Collection includes a face palette, dual-ended eyeliner, and five lipsticks (one wasn’t available when I made my purchase). The world’s most beguiling makeup artist on beauty, stars, love, and sex. Duplicate a high-end product or never buy the same shade twice. Use the tabs above to view the most recent review or previous reviews.

Christine Mielke is the editor-in-chief and has been reviewing products for over 14 years. • on my training day I asked where the hair for the brushes came from.. They said Charlotte tilbury was a cruelty free brand but the brushes I was holding were clearly animal hair, I tested this too much later by cutting off some of the brush hair and burning it and it did not singe like synthetic hair brushes. The woman training us was just very rude and sarcastic with her response and ultimately avoided the question. •they asked for you to dress ‘seductively’ and encouraged you wearing heels. What do cats usually die from?

Most cat owners would consider a cat to be getting 'old' when they reach the ‘mature’ stage when they are seven years old. Nonetheless, most cats don't show much sign of ageing until they are around years old and in the 'senior' stage. During their life, your cat will go through six key life stages. Knowing what to look for at each stage can help cat owners look out for and prevent a number of age related health and behavioural problems. This can, of course, help to make sure that your cat life expectancy is extended. A stray cat has a life expectancy of up to 5 years, and the one that has always been in a home will, on average, reach 12 to 15 years.

Rampling and Jarre also brought up Émilie, from the composer’s first marriage; her memoir is dedicated to all three. The glamorous couple met at a dinner party in St Tropez in 1976; it was before Jarre found great fame with the album Oxygène, released later that year, which went to No 2 in the UK (and 146 in France). This thrilling display of range deepened further when she played a wife tormented by the ghost of another woman in her marriage in 45 Years. Rampling has never deliberately courted controversy, but it has found her nevertheless. Her first marriage to New Zealand actor Bryan Southcombe was in 1972. She shared an apartment with Southcombe and Randall Lawrence, a male model. The inevitable “ménage à trois” label was used liberally by the press. They divorced in 1976 and two years later Rampling married the hugely successful French composer Jean-Michel Jarre.

The film was condemned and celebrated with equal fervor during its release, but all parties agreed that Rampling's performance, which featured her in feverish scenes of morbid fetishism, was the film's highlight. The picture did much to cement Rampling as the thinking man's sex symbol, as did a 1973 layout for Playboy shot by Helmut Newton and a widespread rumor that she lived in a ménage-a-trois with her then-husband, publicist Bryan Southcombe, and male model Randall Laurence. Some reviewers attribute this ability to her mysterious, preternatural charisma and abiding beauty, and that is part of it. But it is also her actively focused talent for the natural representation of real people.

Rampling has consistently declined to discuss the decades of unsavoury behaviour in the film business brought to light by the #MeToo movement. “Not that I’m saying I’m in any way favouring it – obviously, [it’s] despicable. But, if you want the role, well, you’re going to do things to get it, aren’t you?

Happiness was found in a cabaret act she enjoyed with her older sister, Sarah, who died by her own hand in Argentina in 1967 after the premature birth of her daughter. She briefly studied Spanish at a college in Madrid before dropping out in 1963 to travel with a cabaret troupe. Upon her return to England in 1964, she modeled to support herself while learning the craft of acting at the Royal Court Stage School.

In 1997, she was a jury member at the 54th Venice International Film Festival. It was David, though, who rang her from Argentina to tell her he was at his aunt’s grave in Buenos Aires, with his cousin, the only son of her elder sister Sarah. I want to be with you.” Rampling tells of the girl with whom she made her stage debut at 14, in Stanmore parish hall, singing French songs in fishnets and raincoats, before they sneaked off after school together to do the same at an audition for a club in Piccadilly. At 21, Sarah left to visit New York, then went on to Acapulco, where she met a rich cattle rancher, and within a week had married him. She won many awards for her performance in "45 Years" - and now she might also get an Oscar.

The film was released on DVD by Warner Home Video in 2004.[13] A 2K restoration of the film by the Cineteca di Bologna and Institut Lumière was released on Blu-ray and DVD by The Criterion Collection on 28 September 2021.[14] All of the previously-censored footage was restored to the film for both of these home video releases. After the first screening of the film, 12 minutes were cut, including the scene where Lisa hangs herself after being molested.[4] For the initial American release, much of the Bad Wiessee/Night of the Long Knives sequence was cut. Friedrich is now in control of the steelworks, and Sophie even gets Aschenbach to arrange a decree that gives him her father-in-law's last name and royal title of Baron so they will be able to marry as equals. He is affected by all of his newfound power, and Aschenbach begins to feel that he is not displaying the appropriate subservience to National Socialism, so Aschenbach offers to help Martin destroy Sophie and Friedrich. Martin accepts, as he is bitter that his mother has used him to benefit Friedrich and herself.

After star turns in "The Verdict" (1982) and "Angel Heart" (1987), her star waned in the late 1980s due to personal turmoil, though she rebounded in the late 1990s as Aunt Maude in "Wings of a Dove" (1997). Rampling went on to impress audiences with performances as Miss Havisham in "Great Expectations" (BBC, 1999), as well as critical darlings "Under the Sand" (2000) and "Swimming Pool" (2003). As she entered her sixties, Rampling's career was in full bloom, with steely supporting turns in "The Duchess" (2008) and "Never Let Me Go" (2010). In her late teens, she began a career as a model, which quickly led to her being noticed and appearing many movies and TV shows. She first appeared an extra in The Beatles movie "A Hard Day's Night" (1964) and her official credited debut was a year later in the British comedy "Rotten to the Core" (1965). A few years into her acting career, she became a favorite of the '70s European indie film scene, with notable controversial roles in "The Damned" (1969), "The Night Porter" (1974), and "Max, Mon Amour" (1986).

Aschenbach convinces Friedrich and Martin to bar their company from selling weapons to the SA, in hopes of marginalizing the rival group and currying the favor of the army, whose might Hitler will need in order to conquer territories beyond the current German borders. Konstantin discovers Martin has been sexually abusing his nieces and Lisa Keller, a young Jewish neighbor of Martin's girlfriend who commits suicide, and he uses this information to resume providing the SA with weapons and get Martin to call a meeting to place him in charge of the company.

While it’s alright to let your cat out on occasion, there might be cause for concern if your cat is spending days at a time outside. You might be wondering how long you can expect your cat to live if they spend time both indoors and outdoors. This is a tougher question to answer because it depends on the area you live in, how much time your cat spends outside, and more. If you want your cat to live a long, healthy life, you should be taking them to the vet on a regular basis and feeding them a healthy diet. When you notice any strange symptoms your cat is experiencing, calling your vet and getting them treatment early is important. Taking good care of your cat is the best way to make sure they live for a long time and have a good life. Keep in mind that there are several factors that determine how long a cat is going to live.

One of the biggest concerns goes back to the advantage of an outdoor cat, namely, weight maintenance. In a confined space, it may be hard for your cat to get enough exercise. Part of taking your cat to the vet regularly is to have any new or existing issues addressed. These issues can be anything from a slight change in their sleeping or eating habits or a new onset of hairballs.

Indoor cats tend to live much longer in general due to modern interventions like veterinary medicine and vaccinations, complete and balanced cat foods, and protection and shelter. Because indoor cats tend to be more sedentary (because they typically don't hunt for their food, etc.) getting enough exercise and becoming overweight is a huge worry regarding their health. Over 90% of domestic cats in the UK are free to roam outdoors every day and these â€Ëœoutdoor cats’ generally live shorter lives than cats that are kept indoors all the time.

The presence of dental problems, duller coat, arthritis and other physical signs are suggestive of an older cat, but not exclusive to cats of a certain age. Body condition is a good way to determine if your cat is under or over nourished. You will need to adjust what you are feeding if your cat appears too large or skinny; in general aim to be able to easily feel your pet’s ribs (but not see them) and for them to have a visible waist.

Outdoor cats are more likely to get stolen, lost, eat something harmful (like poisonous plants) and get into fights with other cats. Not to mention, being an outdoor cat means that cars are a risk.

Indoor cats also tend to have a more complete diet than outdoor cats, which can help them live a long life. Even with proper vaccines, outdoor cats are exposed to far more dangers than indoor cats’ lives are. Dangers that vaccines and other medicines cannot protect them from. A few of the lifespan threatening dangers that outdoor cats may encounter include ticks, cars, other animals, and many other stressful encounters that can shorten a cat’s lifespan.

Indoor cats get a more balanced and nutritionally complete diet, which improves life expectancy. Understanding the expected cat lifespan for your breed and lifestyle is important. Instead, focus each day on providing the very best nutrition, exercise, enrichment, and bonding experiences you can for your cat. Overbreeding adds to the outdoor cat population and makes it difficult for shelters to keep up with all of the animals that come into them. The Smart Cruisers Guide to Tipping on a Cruise

tipping on a cruise

When it comes to cruise gratuities, the question of tipping—how much, and to whom—always seems to be one of the most popular topics of conversation among tourists. This is a significant improvement from the practice that was common in the past when people went on cruises. It's also not advisable to request removal or reduction of the gratuities on principle. The cruise lines have published detailed information on how the gratuities go toward compensation packages for their staff, and train their staff to provide excellent service in any case.

These start at $18 per person per day for Junior Suite passengers (and categories below that). Tips on Royal Caribbean rise to $20.50 per person per day for passengers in Grand Suites and above. The daily gratuities are applied to all passengers, regardless of age. Because gratuity is already included in the price of these purchases onboard, it’s not necessary to tip extra. However, many passengers still like to tip a few dollars with a drink or specialty restaurant dinner to show their appreciation.

Instead of handing over the charges well in advance of your sailing, you can keep it until you’re actually on your cruise. If you’re a first-time cruiser, then there’s little doubt that you have questions about gratuities and tipping on your cruise. If you are in a suite or aboard a luxury cruise, you may have a butler assigned to your room.

Bringing small bills is recommended on a cruise, as it allows you to tip crew members easily throughout the sailing. Having $1 and $5 bills handy is helpful when you want to give a bartender a small tip with your drink or tip a porter for handling your baggage on embarkation day. Guests in non-suite staterooms (including Junior Suites) pay $18 USD per person, per day for gratuities. Those in Grand Suites and above pay $20.50 USD per person, per day. Second, any time that you purchase anything service related — such as dinner at a specialty restaurant or a service at the spa — expect there to be a tip added on to the cost.

Below is a line-by-line look at policies for automatic gratuity charges (called service charges or "crew appreciation" charges at some lines). At most lines, you can pay your service charges before sailing (at the same time you pay your cruise fare). Alternatively, you can have the charges added to your room bill on board.

If you choose to pay tips in cash, there are usually some envelopes available at the guest service desk. When paying the automatic daily gratuities, cruise lines tell us this amount gets divided by your cabin attendant, waiter and other dining staff. In addition, a portion of the tips are given to those who work behind the scenes or may serve you in different areas of the ship. I’ve been cruising for over 15 years, and the practice of tipping on a cruise has certainly evolved. Cruise lines have implemented automatic gratuities, options to prepay gratuities and some popular cruise lines have begun including tips in your cruise fare. Passengers can request to adjust the daily amount if they have not received satisfactory service by visiting guest services onboard.

It doesn't help that tipping etiquette and different cruise line policies on the practice can be baffling. Whether you're wondering how much to tip a cruise porter or the waiter on a cruise ship, there is a lot of gray area. That's why Cruise Critic's experts have broken down when to tip, how much to tip and whom to tip. Read on for our tips on tipping, so you won't be lost at sea when it comes time to show your appreciation for the cruise crew. Still, some people do leave a little extra for crew members who go above and beyond. Others tip their room service or waitstaff at their favorite bar, either early in the cruise in the hope of getting better service or at the end to thank them for enhancing the vacation experience.

Many people wonder how tips work for other crew members on a cruise ship, such as housekeeping, laundry, or spa staff. While it may vary depending on the cruise line and its policies, these tips are often pooled together with the rest of the gratuities and distributed among crew members. While automatic gratuity charges may be convenient for some passengers, others prefer alternative tipping onboard. What I can say, on a personal level, is that we have found that the majority of cabin stewards, waiters, assistant waiters and ship staff have given us amazing service. In  fact, I think most would agree that cruise line staff make a huge difference in the cruise experience. Cruise line tipping policies vary from one cruise company to another.
